2D Grids / Surfaces
2D Grids and surfaces are grid files representing surface boundaries, water levels, isopach maps etc.
2D Grids are shown as colored grids in the Data Map and in the 3D Window. At profiles they are represented as a line.
The user interface for these data has a filtering option and number of entries is available, and the users can download and/or delete data, depending on assigned access levels.
Grid Information
When opening the Grid Information, it will look something like below.
Here you can edit 'Name', 'Type', 'Profile Buffer', 'Profile Color' and 'Description'.
You can see the data extent, download the file and download the Legend.
Upload 2D grids
When uploading Grids, drag and drop the file to the 'Upload Window'.
Select the right data type as indicated by the extension (e.g. .grd).
Give the file a 'Name', 'Description', EPSG number and select the color you like for the profiles.
The EPSG number MUST match the EPSG of the GeoCloud Portal.
Select a color scale for the grid.
You can edit the color scale when the file is uploaded to the GeoCloud Portal.
Click 'Finish'. When the status for your file turns green and reads 'Succes' your file is uploaded to the GeoCloud Portal.
