User roles on the GeoCloud defines the level of access to data. There are 5 different user roles. The admin can assign a user to become viewer, basic, extended, quality assurance or admin role.

Every user role comes with a certain level of permissions. The table below shows what the different user roles allows.

Furthermore, there are some specific restrictions for the Viewer role which is enabled upon activating blanking on a portal. This can be seen here (Blanking)
